Ufford Park host a charity event today the 26 February 2011 in aid of raising money for the local Air Ambulance and Sports Aid.  Their theme is a Las Vegas cambling with lots of sponsors and gifts denoted.
 
Have a look at the room we dressed to day for them a black and white theme with striking osterich feathers supplied by the venue.

Here at Extravorganza we give you choice.  

You can either opt for a cotton made to measure chair cover or a lycra stretch cover.


There are different views on both the cotton and the lycra, all I say is come and see me and have a look at both covers and see which one best suits you and your wedding day.

Each of my cottons covers are handmade, made to measure for your venues chair, each one has to be ironed and hung unlike the lycra that doesn't.

I have two sizes of lycra one cover does not fit all, this cover has been around London for about five years and is mainly used for co-orporate.

With both covers be it cotton or lycra if I have not worked with your venue and they are not listed on my venues or blog page I visit your venue and check that the cover you wish fits perfectly.

Due to the type of material for the lycra chairs they can obsorb the stain more easily, however due to the size of my company I use commercial chemicals for both the cotton and lycra covers and an industrial machine, therefore no charges should be incurred for replacement covers.
 
I am also very passionate about my quality of my products each cover is checked following washing to ensure that all marks have been removed.

The sashes for both covers are available in both large that means the sash goes over the back of the chair and tied around the back in a design tailored for you, or a narrow sash which is securely knotted and tied available in a colour of your choice.  You can also put two together be it two large ones, two narrow or a large and a narrow the choice is endless.

I offer a free consultation at my unit t see both covers on chairs and I chat through your vision and ideas and help and guide you with my experience that I have gained over the years to achieve the wedding of your dreams.

I also offer lycra stretch table linen available in black, white and ivory however I would advise that the white and ivory can show any marks that your venues table may have i.e. red wine marks etc and that within your venues or caterers package the table linen should already be included, why pay more.

Belstead always brings in the Brides for this show.  The venue is a very poular one and the show is run by East Anglian Weddings, Jo Springs.  With many suppliers ranging from dresses, photographers, florists, cakes and yes me Chair covers.

I am Belstead Brook sole recommended chair cover supplier, I dressed a table in the foyer along with Emmas Florist who did the flowers and Michelle from Weddingcraft the favours.  The table looked stunning and we had lots of good feedback.

The chairs were dressed with cotton white chair covers and a large white sash and dark grape running through with diamantes on each sash.  The diamantes work really well with dark sashes. I have all sorts of diamantes ranging from different sizes to squares, hearts and ovals.  The whole table looked amazing and brought the colour for this year to life, the purples.

I took a picture of my stand I brought in my candleabra which I put silver candles on, diamantes on a silver dish with tea lights.  With candlearbras you can dress real flowers around them.  You can hire the candlearbra from me with diamontes and candles and so on, or talk to your florists both Wendy from W Flowers and Kaye Souter have candlearbras and they can dress them with flowers.

le Talbooth based near Colchester Dedham.

I have been very lucky to work several times this year with Le Talbooth out near Dedham Colchester.  The venue is a beautiful period house located in the heart of Constable Country.  The hotel and restaurant is famiily run and boasts of an award winning restaurant that has a fine reputation for a warm welcome and quality food.  

The weddings are based in the Marquee on the lawns of the house which tends to go up in the Spring and taken down in the Winter months.  The marquee offers a blank canvas which works very well for any chosen colour scheme.

I enclose for you some of the pictures I have taken of my work.  Le Talbooth do have their own covers they are charcoal grey with a coloured sash, if you are after a white linen look or just to hire the sashes give us a call and we are here to help you.

For next year it is very Vintage purples, pastels, pinks, are the main colours, flowers on a plain sash look lovely why not alternate the flowers so the girls have the accessory on their chair or go wild of every chair.  The most chic weddings I have dressed are the most simplistict ones where less is more.  Sometimes too much can overpower your look and can become looking cheap and also does end up costing you lots.

You must taste a Cakeflair Cake!

Sally I have known for many years I have worked alongside her, matching sashes to cake ribbons (Sally has my colour charts to ensure a perfect match), wedding shows and many weddings we have done together.

She is a truly lovely lady who is very passionate about cakes, ranging from sponges, carrot, lemon, chocolate and the must taste fruit cake.  I am always there after a wedding show to check if Sally has any cake left my favourite is the fruit cake truly scrummy.  Also available Sally has a range of gluten free cakes, she also caters for other food allergies aswell.

Sally is an excellent sugar crafter this means she makes all her own designs from the charactures that sit on the top of the cake, traditional or Bride and Grooms that look like you, yes she can do that too, to the traditional petals, flowers and any other designs that you may think of.

I have pleasure to show you a submarine with monkeys all handmade by Sally and well looks incredible took my breath away.  The Groom came from a nautical background and carried this through to the cake, tables and yes me the chair covers with blue sashes and swags in organza on the top table.  Everything complimented the look and the venue looked stunning.
